Novel90 Challenge | Days 73 - 79
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. While I haven't kept up with the timing of Novel90, I have continued to work on my rough draft. I attend a weekly late night sprinters club and tend to get some writing done at those. Then, last night, the motivation hit hard, managing to get over 5000 words down in a few hours. Sometimes you get 100 words in a week. Other times you conquer 5000 words in a single night.

I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. Slow.... And... Steady... Gets you there eventually.

Novel90 Challenge | Days 59 - 65
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. Well... SOME progress has been made. I decided to work on some of my favorite planned scenes and it helped me get a flow going. I haven't quite hit my word count goal, but that's okay. I may be doing this challenge, but that doesn't mean I have to stress myself out about it. Life happens. Sometimes you just gotta roll with it.

Novel90 Challenge | Days 52 - 58
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. I have made a little more progress this week, deciding to focus on a scene that I already pretty much had decided. A nice, emotional scene. I'm looking forward to getting more done. I have another writing "retreat" set up and this time I should be able to focus a bit more. The editing month for Novel90 starts April 1. Am I ready for it? No. But that's okay, I'll just keep working on the rough. Honestly, a month is

Novel90 Challenge | Days 45 - 51
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. This past week I had a "solo writing retreat." I mean, I was actually house and pet sitting, but it seemed like a good opportunity to focus on some writing. Did I actually get any writing done? Kind of. The Novel90 project, which is book three of my YA fantasy trilogy, didn't really get any farther. What did, however, was book two. It's done. All the writing and the editing. DONE. Now I just need to format and get

Novel90 Challenge | Days 38 - 44
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. Honestly, between getting my YouTube Channels reorganized, preparing for some house-sitting gigs, and finishing book 2, pretty much nothing got done for book three this week. I did attend the Late Night Sprinters club where I managed to add about 1800 words to my manuscript, but that's it. As I look at this information, I remind myself to go easy on myself. I'm in the middle of a book launch, so I have a lot of oth

Novel90 Challenge | Days 31 - 37
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. Not great. Since I am simultaneously working on the last steps of book 2 while I work on this rough draft, I had to shift my focus to book 2 for a while (which will be released soon, btw; hence why I had to switch focus for a little bit). But! Since I do have my outline and some scenes blocked out, once I sit down to work this week I should begin to catch up to where I should be for the challenge.

Novel90 Challenge | Days 24 - 30
I decided to do the Novel90 Challenge. Here's how it's going. Not much extra added this week since my outline is ready. I did try to do a little bit of a rough scene which has since changed. I recently received some of my beta feedback, so I have also been working a little on book 2 and getting that ready for the next to last edit before publishing! Side note: the title for book 2 will be revealed this week! How exciting is that?! How do I feel now that we're a third of the w
