Summary
High schooler Aoi dreams of music while living with sister Akane, who gave up Tokyo plans to raise her after their parents died. When musician Dankichi invites Aoi to perform, Shinnosuke returns to town.
Characters
All have their own personalities, some cute little loves going on. Shino vs Shinosuke is a good contrast. Akane and Ao are cute sisters, it’s a very sweet dynamic.
Atmosphere
Somewhat small town, beautiful fall time. A place I’d love to visit.
Animation/Art
Beautifully rendered artwork and smooth animation.
Music
Considering one of the storylines involves music, it better be good. I like the rock music they play throughout.
Plot
A cute story about regrets and facing them, trying to move forward to your dreams and to find true happiness and love.
Intrigue
The intrigue was good. Why is the guy’s past self here all of a sudden? Why can’t he leave? Will they finally end up together?!
Logic
Makes sense, especially if you’ve watched a lot of anime.
Enjoyment and Final Thoughts
Some slow parts, but I really liked it. Makes me want to do better at doing something with my life.
Would I Recommend It?
Yes! Especially if you’re looking for something to motivate you to go after your dreams, regrets or no. A refreshing story with beautiful artwork.
Memorable Quotes
“The frog at the bottom of a well doesn’t know the vastness of the sea, but it does know the blueness of the sky.”
